Step 2: Get your Email configuration details.
After creating your professional email ID again go back to your email accounts in cPanel.
Click on the check email button on your newly created email and scroll down to the Mail Client Manual Settings. Keep note of the SSL Settings (Recommended)- your username, password, POP3 Port and SMTP Port numbers. These will help you to connect Gmail with your email id.

Step 3: Connect with Gmail.
Log in to your Gmail account where you want to link your professional email id.
Click on little gear (settings Icon) on the right top below your account picture and open settings.
After settings page opens, navigate to Accounts tab and scroll down to Check email from other accounts and click add an email account. A new tab will open asking the Email address. Enter your newly created email id.

Fill all the boxes and choose POP3 Port as it was in your manual settings. If you want Gmail to just fetch the emails from your server then check the Leave a copy on the server box. Also, don’t forget to check the SSL connection box.
If you wish to label all incoming emails from your server then just check the third box and choose a label or create a new label.
After all that just click on Add Account and you are all done.
Step 4: Send emails through Gmail.
After adding your email id to your Gmail account, Gmail will ask you to whether you want to send emails from the account you just added. Why not?… Just click on yes and enter the details it asks. Same as the previous step, It will ask username, password and port, also tick the SSL box.
Next Gmail will ask you to enter the verification code to add your email. Just go back to your cPanel email section and click on check emails.
Choose any of the default webmail provided by your hosting provider (Horde or roundcube)
Wait for the verification email to arrive and copy-paste the verification pin in the configuration tab.
And you are all done. Now you can check email from your professional email id that you have created on your server as well as able to send emails from it.
